Privacy Policy — سەڵاتی Sallaty

Sallaty (سەڵاتی) is a prayer-times, Qur'an and adhkar app. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.

تطبيق سَلاتي لا يجمع أي بيانات شخصية ولا يرسلها إلى أي جهة.
- لا يتطلّب أي حساب.
- لا نملك أي خادم — تبقى جميع البيانات على هاتفك فقط.
- يُستخدم موقعك (GPS) داخل الهاتف فقط لتحديد أوقات الصلاة واتجاه القبلة، ولا يُرسل إلى الخارج.
- عند حذف التطبيق تُحذف جميع البيانات معه.
- يعرض التطبيق إعلان بانر صغيرًا (Google AdMob) أسفل الشاشة — ولا يعرض أبدًا إعلانات ملء الشاشة أو مقاطعة، ولا يغطي المحتوى. ولا يظهر أي إعلان أثناء رفع الأذان. تستخدم جوجل معرّف الإعلان الخاص بجهازك؛ ولا تصلنا تلك البيانات.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal data. Sallaty has no user accounts, no analytics, and no backend server operated by us. We cannot see who you are or how you use the app. The only third-party component is the Google AdMob advert SDK, described in section 6.
2. Information stored on your device
The following stays only on your device (in the app's local storage) and is never transmitted to us:

Deleting the app deletes all of this.
3. Location
If you grant location permission, the app reads your approximate coordinates to pick the nearest city's official prayer times and to compute the qibla bearing. This happens entirely on the device. Location is never uploaded to us or shared with third parties. You may refuse the permission and instead choose your city manually — the app works fully either way.
4. Notifications and alarms
The app schedules local alarms so the adhan sounds at each prayer time, including when the screen is off. These are local device alarms; no push service and no network connection is involved.
5. Network use
The app is designed to work fully offline. Prayer times for the supported cities, the Qur'an text, translations and adhan audio are all bundled inside the app. The app may optionally contact the public website amozhgary.tv to refresh official prayer times for a new year. This request contains no personal data. If you open "nearby mosques", the app hands the request to your maps app, which is governed by its own privacy policy.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Sallaty shows a small banner advert at the bottom of the screen, provided by Google AdMob. It is always a banner — never a full-screen or interstitial format, and never anything that covers content or interrupts what you are doing. No advert is shown while the adhan is sounding.
To serve these adverts, Google AdMob may collect and process:
- your device's advertising identifier
- approximate location derived from IP address, device type and OS version
- interaction with the advert (views, taps)
This is handled by Google, not by us — we never receive this data. Google's use of it is governed by their own policies:
Your choices. In the European Economic Area and the UK the app shows a consent form before any personalised advert is served, and you may refuse. On any device you can limit or reset the advertising identifier in your system settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
We use no analytics and no other tracking SDKs.
7. Children
The app is rated 4+ on the App Store and for ages 13 and over on Google Play. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new "Last updated" date.
